A vintage train special working triple-headed by 4-4-0 and 4-6-0 locomotives - c.1971; preserved 12-class 4-4-0 No. 176 latterly NSW No.1243 leads 17-class 4-4-0 No. 381 NSW No. 1709 and 32-class 4-6-0 No.3214. Two auxiliary water tanks were provided.
