End of the line for three of Consolidated Main Reef Mines & Estates locomotives at Luipaardsvlei West Rand - 27th October 1968 - where Nos. 1, 2 and 6 await their fate in the stores area. 4-8-2T No. 1 had been built by Dubs under works number 3833/1900 for the Natal Government Railways No. 147 becoming South African Railways A-class No. 185 - and purchased from SAR in August 1934; 0-6-4T No. 2 was ex- NZASM 46-tonner No. 203 Emil Kessler 2861/1897 - later CSAR No. 181 and SAR 32 but not carried as purchased in October 1911; 4-8-2T No. 6 had been built by NBL w/no. 16062/1904 as NGR "B" No. 252 - later SAR G-class No. 199 which was sold for industrial use in November 1939.
